This species of snake is by far and away my favorite and I believe to be a growing favorite of many. The indigos are the United Sates largest native species of snake and the activity level mixed with the demeanor of this animal makes for a perfect combination in my opinion. I have had the boas and pythons and sure they get big but once you have held a adult drymarchon species, you will know what I mean.
