The Texas Indigo which I have are a much more stockier snake then the Eastern indigo. They have more red/orange much lower on the under side then a red/white throat eastern and the male has tan/light brown banding which is becoming more pronounced as he gets larger. The female doesn't show these bands at this point. She is a more daintier snake however at this point. She also shows the orange/red underside much farther down the under side though. These are a great snake and do not require the federal and state permits the Eastern Indigos require. My favorite.
These are pictures of the Drymarchon Erebennus(Texas indigo) within my collection
